Katie Boyd is a veteran communications strategist with nearly 20 years of experience in key policy fights, including more than a decade in House and Senate leadership offices.

Before joining CGCN, Katie served as Communications Director and Spokeswoman for U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) as he led the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, the Republican Policy Committee, the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, & Related Agencies, and served as Vice Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference. Katie returned to Capitol Hill in 2010 after working in public affairs advising clients in the energy and financial sectors. Prior to that, she was part of the Research and Communications team at the Republican National Committee during the 2008 presidential cycle.
