Mike Danylak, Former Senior Staffer To Sen. Barrasso, Joins CGCN Group

Today, Jan 31, 2022, the CGCN Group, a fully integrated advocacy, policy analysis, and strategic communications firm, announced that Mike Danylak, Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee communications director to U.S. Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) has joined the firm as a senior vice president and promoted Amanda Horne to a communications associate. A veteran of Capitol Hill, Danylak has helped lead communications efforts in the Senate on major energy, infrastructure, and environmental legislation.

Prior to his time with the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, Mike served for four years as communications director for the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and two years as press secretary for the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs. Before his time on Capitol Hill, Mike served as press secretary of the American Action Forum and as director of the Republican National Committee’s war room.

In addition to Danylak, CGCN Group has also promoted Amanda Horne to a communications associate. Horne joined the firm in 2019 and previously served as a Staff Assistant to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
