With a decade of experience in Washington, Rosemarie Calabro Tully has served in strategic communications roles at a trade association, think tank and the United States Senate, working on energy, trade, financial services, environmental issues and immigration.
As the Director of Federal Communications and Public Affairs at the National Biodiesel Board, Calabro Tully developed and executed strategies related to federal policies and four successful trade cases that benefited the domestic biodiesel industry. Calabro Tully spent seven years in the U.S. Senate. She led the press shop for Ranking Member Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee during the first bipartisan, energy conference committee negotiations in nearly a decade.
Before joining Cantwell’s office, Calabro Tully served as the press secretary for the Bipartisan Policy Center on the Democracy, Energy, Financial Regulatory Reform, Housing and Immigration Projects. Calabro Tully began her professional career with former Sen. Jeff Bingaman (D-N.M.) on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee. A native of Maryland, Rosemarie is a licensed attorney with a law degree from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law and bachelor’s degrees from Georgetown University in Government and Spanish.
