McHenry Lee is a communications associate at CGCN who works to draft op-eds and press releases, develop communications strategies, pitch stories to journalists, and monitor up-to-date news coverage for clients. In addition to his work at CGCN, he is currently pursuing a Masters in Political Management at George Washington University.
Lee joined CGCN after graduating with honors from Johns Hopkins University in 2017 with a B.A. in political science. At Hopkins, Lee wrote a senior thesis on the decline of interstate warfare in the late 20th century, which was nominated for the departmental award. He also served as an American Politics editor for a campus politics and current events publication.
Lee interned for CGCN in the summer of 2016 prior to joining full time in August 2017. In the past, he has also interned for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the Republican opposition research firm America Rising, and was a campaign volunteer for Mitt Romney in 2012.
