Gary Lytle co-founded CGCN Group (formerly Clark & Lytle) in 2000 and brings nearly 30 years of government-relations experience to representing the firms clients. During his career, Lytle ran the Washington office of Qwest. He also served as interim president and chief executive officer of the U.S. Telecom Association (USTA). He was the vice president of federal relations at Ameritech from 1993 until 1999. Between 1980 and 1992, Lytle held multiple government-relations positions at Michigan Bell, including vice president of government affairs. He is on the board of directors for the Washington Performing Arts Society, the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation and the University Club of Washington.
