With nearly a decade of experience in public affairs in Washington, DC, Christyn Lansing has served in communications roles at a federal agency, the House and Senate, a global media company, and a political campaign committee.
As the Director of Strategic Communications at the Department of Homeland Security, Lansing helped develop and execute the communications plans for high-profile policy rollouts, including those related to cybersecurity. In this role she worked collaboratively with the department’s legislative affairs, policy, and private sector teams.
Lansing also previously served as communications director at a global media company and press secretary for a United States senator. As the Director of Radio and Television at a campaign committee, Lansing helped to shape coverage of House races while also developing close ties with influential bookers and producers.
Lansing graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in political science.
